let’s talk about fish
(and me)
I’ve been to over 36 countries to fish. I’ve spent the better part of my life pursuing the goal of finding an “Endless Summer of Fishing.” I love everything about fish. One thing I love to focus on is sustainable fishing. I believe in supporting the scientific work to keep our fish clean and safe. Fishing should be available for everyone to enjoy and I’m glad I can work toward that reality.
Because I’ve spent over 20 years chasing the fish, I’ve also had the chance to obtain and keep a 100 gross ton US Coast Guard Captain’s license for over 20 years. Working with me means you benefit from the experience I’ve gained from the hours, days, weeks, and months I’ve spent on the ocean. My current boat is named “Vicious Cycle” and measures 50ft x 17.5ft.
I’m passionate about all things fish and fishing related. From the smallest streams to the open ocean and everything in between. Fishing is more about the feel and your experience than what you’re actually catching. Catching a small fish with a bamboo rod can give you the same “romantic” feeling as catching 1000lb marlin on a state-of-the-art fishing vessel. I want to help guide you while you grow your personal journey with fish. Since I’m someone with the right passion and experience to teach you, I know you can learn from me.
Talk fish with me today. It’s not a cliche when it’s true. Fishing really is my life. This is what I love to do. I’m available to talk and work for any fish related subject and, if I can’t help you, I can still send you in the right direction.
Recently, I wrote a book called Vicious Cycle: Whiskey, Women, and Water. It’s filled with inspiration and guidelines to help you be true to yourself, find and be who you are, how to come out of something dark and rise to your own happiness. Learn to be you instead of living a life defined by other people.
Outside of fishing, I’m a proud father of 3 children and based out of Kona, Hawaii.
